Walking around Grand Rapids, Michigan, during ArtPrize it’s hard not to gawk at artist Henry Brimmer’s “Gravity Matters Little” sculpture high above the intersection of Monroe  Center NW and Ionia Avenues. It is a welcome surprise egged on by signs at every point you step off the sidewalk to cross the street.
There is an interview with the artist over at Michigan Live, where he explains, “I wanted to surprise people when they saw it … There’s obviously danger. There’s a moment of suspense.”
