Google does a tribute to Robert Indiana with this LOVE filled logo, which links to a Google search of “Valentine’s Day.”
Indiana originally created his iconic LOVE image as a Christmas Card for the Museum Of Modern Art in 1964. The MoMA’s website has this to say about the image that has been remixed and reused endlessly for decades:
Full of erotic, religious, autobiographical, and political underpinnings — especially when it was co-opted as an emblem of 1960s idealism — LOVE is both accessible and complex in meaning.
