Federal Agents Raid NYC Gallery Involved in High-Stakes Poker Games
The New York Times is reporting that Federal agents have raided an Upper East Side art gallery, Helly Namad Gallery, as part of an investigation into a gambling operation that included “high-stakes poker games involving Wall Street financiers, Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes, according to an indictment unsealed in the case.”

I want to preface my review of Radiator Arts’s current show So Real with a brief shout-out to Bernard Hopkins. On Saturday, March 9, 2013, Bernard Hopkins defeated Tavoris Cloud to win the Light Heavyweight World Championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. At 48, Hopkins became the oldest fighter in history to win a major belt.

6 Pollock Prints Donated to US Embassies
Six screenprints by Jackson Pollock were donated on the occasion of Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies’s 25th anniversary in 2011 and in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth in 2012.
The prints have been installed at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Germany, along with more than 65 works and two site-specific installations to make up FAPE’s most extensive collection to date.
